2010年开始，江西农业大学与澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学（University of Newcastle）开展了“2+2”形式的合作办学。学生在江西农业大学完成本科前两年的学习后，如英语成绩达到澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学的入学标准，可前往澳大利亚纽卡斯尔大学进行后两年的学习，完成纽卡斯尔大学规定的学分者可获得纽卡斯尔大学管理类学士学位，并可同时申请两校学位。
At the beginning of 2010, Jiangxi Agricultural University launched the educational co-operation of “2+2” with University of Newcastle in Australia. After studying first two years in Jiangxi Agricultural University, students can chase for the further studying on the last two years in University of Newcastle, Australia if they meet the requirement on the English test of University of Newcastle. The graduated students completing the credits stipulated by University of Newcastle can obtain the Bachelor Degrees in Management majors and apply for the degrees of two universities.
近年来，学院对外学术交流范围不断扩大，交流层次不断提升，坚持“请进来、走出去”的策略方针。通过一系列的学术交流，协调本研究领域的学术活动，不但扩大了我院的学术影响力，而且增近了学界同行感情。
成功举办了《中国农业经济学会青年学者年会》、《海峡两岸乡村发展论坛》等5次全国性学术会议，9次省级学术会议。
邀请国内外知名学者来校讲座50余人次。
学院教师参加国内外会议培训120余人次。
In recent years, our institute of foreign academic communication expands the communication scope, continuously upgrade the communication level, adhere to the strategy policy of “please come in, go out”. Through carrying out a series of academic communication, and coordinating the research areas on academic activities, not only enlarge the school’s academic influence, but also enhance the emotion among academic peers.
The institute successfully hosted the" China Agricultural Economic Association Annual Meeting of Young Scholars "," Two sides of the Taiwan Straits Rural Development Forum”, other national academic conferences for five times and provincial-level academic conferences for nine times.
